Trailblazers Volleyball Club put on a dominant display at the Nyayo National Stadium Basketball Court, securing a 3-0 victory against Nairobi Prisons in the KVF National Men’s League 3rd Leg.

The match began with Trailblazers asserting control early in the first set. Their aggressive serves and quick offensive transitions forced Nairobi Prisons into defensive errors. Despite resistance, Nairobi Prisons struggled to break through Trailblazers’ solid blocks. Trailblazers maintained a comfortable lead, closing the set at 25-20.

The second set saw a more spirited challenge from Nairobi Prisons. They adjusted their defensive positioning and attempted to disrupt the Trailblazers’ rhythm. However, Trailblazers’ outside hitters continued to execute sharp attacks, finding gaps in Nairobi Prisons’ defence. The middle blockers also played a key role in shutting down their opponents’ attacks. A late push from Nairobi Prisons was not enough, as Trailblazers sealed the set at 25-19.

With a 2-0 lead, the Trailblazers entered the third set with confidence. Nairobi Prisons fought hard to stay in the game, displaying quick counterattacks and strategic serving. However, the Trailblazers’ setter orchestrated plays with precision, keeping the attackers well-fed and unpredictable. Nairobi Prisons tried to force errors, but the Trailblazers’ back-row defence remained solid. A final burst of energy saw the Trailblazers clinch the set at 25-20, securing a well-earned 3-0 victory.

With this convincing win, the Trailblazers shifted their focus to a crucial must-win encounter against Prisons Rift Valley this morning, 31st January 2025, determined to continue their strong run in the league.
