Luke Opeto Epoloto, one of the key players for the Kenyan volleyball team, the Trailblazers, has left the country for Leipzig University in Germany to pursue a postgraduate diploma in sports science and international volleyball coaching course. Luke is the son of Moses Epoloto & Janepher Epoloto, and brother to Libero player Mathew Epoloto (Trailblazers). Coach Epoloto is the immediate former national men’s team Head Coach and the current Chairman of KVF’s Coaches Commission. Moses Epoloto is elated that his son has been given the opportunity to pursue such a vital course that is relevant to the sport of volleyball. He believes that this experience will not only benefit Luke personally but also the Kenyan volleyball community as a whole.
