James Mutero, renowned Kenyan International and Captain of Trailblazers Volleyball Club, recently lent his expertise and passion for the game to the 2024 Maranatha Volleyball Camp in Thika, Kiambu County. The camp, aimed at children aged 8 to 15 with a keen interest in volleyball, serves as a platform for nurturing talent during school holidays, generously sponsored by The Maranatha Church.
Mutero’s presence at the camp today was not merely ceremonial; he actively engaged with the young participants, sharing insights on volleyball, discipline, and the importance of longevity in the sport. Joined by esteemed coaches such as Coach Mwangi and Mbogo among others, Mutero’s motivational speech resonated deeply with the aspiring athletes, instilling in them a sense of purpose and dedication.
Speaking about the significance of such camps, Mutero emphasized, “It’s crucial to start grooming talent at a young age.
